Off Hardwood News: Budenholzer Fined 25k For Contact With a Referee

Mike Budenholzer, the Atlanta Hawks head coach, was fined by the NBA $25,000 for contact with a referee.

He stepped in on the court arguing a call with a referee and then bumped him.

The union of the referees called the NBA and asked for at least one game suspension for what Budenholzer did.

The league, however, would not suspend him and said that the fine was enough as a sanction.

However, the Union of the NBA referees is saying that if a coach argued and stepped in on the court making contact with the referee during live game would have to be suspended.
