Charlotte Hornets agreed to a multi-year extension with their head coach Steve Clifford.

Steve Clifford has been with them for 3 years. In his first year with the Hornets, he brought the team to the playoffs but then got swift by the much superior team of the Miami Heat.

On his second year the team struggles due to injuries, and this season the team seems promising as it adds major pieces in the lineup including Nicolas Batum, Jeremy Lin, Spencer Hawes, and Jeremy Lamb.
