Jordan Clarkson's Future is Set with the Gilas Pilipinas

Filipinos was shocked when the lineup for the FIBA ASIA 2015 tournament of the Gilas Pilipinas was released without a trace of the name Jordan Clarkson. The release of the lineup was followed by a report explaining why Jordan Clarkson has not been listed to the lineup; even he inserted multiple efforts on representing a whole country. SBP said that due to the conflict in scheduling and also because of the lack of time to process of the necessary clearances,
Clarkson said that he is very disappointed on not playing for the team, but says that it would be unfair if he pressed to be a part of the twelve man team to represent the country due to what he saw on how hard the players worked to earn the spot that they are in, and also because he would not be able to play for the team the whole tournament because he would be forced summon to the Lakers training camp in Hawaii in the middle of the tournament.
However the Gilas Pilipinas are not closing its door to Jordan in the future tournaments that the Gilas would be participating, and one potential tournament would be the Rio Olympics.
Clarkson said that he would cheer the Gilas Pilipinas all throughout the tournament.
He may not be officially a Pilipinas Gilas player, but in the heart of the Filipinos, he definitely belongs.
