Michael Beasley, a former Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, Minesota Timberwolves, and Phoenix Suns, was sued by a woman of sexually assaulting and kidnapping her earlier in 2013. But due to the lack of evidence, the woman decided to go and file the case in civil court.

According to the report of the woman, she went to the house of Michael Beasley in Scottsdale on January 13, 2013. She said that there, Beasley and another man overpowered her, choked her until she passed out, strips her clothes, sexually abused and raped her.

But now, the judges officially dismissed the case because of the law that is implemented in the state of Arizona. The law stated that she cannot sue for the allegations like sexual assault or kidnapping, but can prosecute in the said allegations, but the judge also advised her that she can sue for battery but she needed to renew her suit and file it again.

The judge also told her that the allegations of kidnapping are more like false imprisonment, on which limitations are already expired.
