Nigeria faces a twelve time African title holder in the AfroBasket's finals game. But history did not bother them, with the help of some poor shooting by the Angola, they bag their first ever title in the AfroBasket that instantly qualifies them to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Nigeria only loses once in the stretch of the AfroBasket 2015 league, and they finished their last game 74-65. Angola leads until some point in the second quarter where Nigeria turn things around, boosting their confidence due to the poor shooting of Angola, and never look back.
Besides the poor shooting, Angola has also been out rebounded by Nigeria by a huge deficit, 60 - 37.
Due to Ouguchi's outstanding performance throughout the tournament, he has been awarded the Most Valuable Player award.
Angola, Tunisia, and Senegal, having the tournament rank of second, third, and fourth, are bound to play to the FIBA Olympics Qualifying Tournaments.
